What light source should I use with the camera?

Suitable light sources for use with the Living Optics camera are those that provide bright illumination and a continuous spectral power distribution across the 400nm –900nm wavelength range. Sunlight is an ideal choice, while for indoor settings broadband halogen and LED lights are a good substitute. Please note that light sources for spectral imaging must be continuous across the full wavelength range, since it is not possible to measure an object’s spectral response at a wavelength that is not present in the illumination.
